Selected as a fourth round (128th pick overall) draft choice by Atlanta in 2005.

Career:
Has seen extensive action on the defensive line in his first three NFL Seasons, playing in all 48 games with 18 starts.

Collected two tackles, one pass defensed and his first career interception (41 yards) at Washington (12/3). The interception led to the Falcons go ahead score in their 24-14 victory over the Redskins. Posted a season high six tackles vs. Carolina (12/24).

College:
Totaled 40 tackles, seven sacks, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, and one blocked kick in 24 games for Florida State. Converted to defensive end as a senior from the outside linebacker position.

Named the team's most improved defensive end and outstanding player as a senior after posting 22 tackles, five sacks, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery in 11 starts

Personal:
First-team All-State Class 4A and All-America selection as a senior at Auburndale (FL) High School, rushing for 1,000 yards in addition to playing linebacker and defensive end.

Born Chanucey Antoine Davis on January 27, 1983 in Bartow, Florida, he has one son, Chauncey Antoine Davis, Jr. born on December 11, 2007.
